Day 1 - Arrival in Sydney
After arrival Transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your disposal in the lively, exciting city.

Day 2 - Sydney Touring
In the shape of a canopy of sails, the famous opera house seems to float in front of the skyscrapers like a fairy-tale sailing ship with its spectacular roof.
We stroll through the botanical garden with its cockatoos before Macquarie’s Point opens up to the unique view of the iconic Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Passing the Kings Cross and Double Bay, we continue to the most famous beach in the city – Bondi Beach. We cross the bay of Port Jackson to Manly. Just the view from the water to the silhouette of the city is worth the ferry ride. The evening ends in the The Rocks district at the foot of the Harbour Bridge.

Day 3 - Blue Mountains
We Drive from Sydney to the Blue Mountains, which owe their name to the evocative eucalyptus, whose oils lie in a bluish mist over the mountain range. Next to the Wentworth Falls, visit the famous rock formation of the Three Sisters. Afterwards we head to the vantage point Govetts Leap where we explore the area. Return to Sydney and overnight as on the previous day.

Day 4 - Flight to Melbourne
Transfer to the hotel.
Upon arrival, stroll along the beach, or explore the fashion Mecca Melbourne or stroll around Melbourne’s small laneways.

Day 5 - Melbourne by bike
Today, we swing ourselves on a bike and head out for an ‘insider’ ride in Melbourne. City visit partly by bike and by tram.

Day 6 - Great Ocean road and The Twelve Apostles
It is considered the most beautiful panoramic road in Australia: The Great Ocean Road. At the 12 Apostles, we lace up our boots and discover this coastal section on foot. On the way we will find kangaroos, the small village of Apollo Bay and another small hike in the rainforest while marveling at further sights we continue to Port Campbell.

Day 7 - Grampians National Park
After our arrival we hike the Grand Canyon trail and the Pinnacles. An easy cliff path above the canyon offers stunning views of the entire mountain range down to the plain.

Day 8 - Through the McKenzie Gorge
After a cozy night we walk to the exciting McKenzie gorge to a steep waterfall. After watching the old wine cellars in a winery, we continue on to Ballarat, an old gold mining town back to Melbourne.

Day 9 - Into the Red Centre of Australia - Flight to Alice Springs
Flight to Alice Springs. We get used to the dry air, red earth and Aussie outback. We visit the Botanical Gardens and explore Alice Springs or have time to prepare for the next 4 days excursion.
Pack only the most necessary, small bags and a day backpack for drinking water, Camera etc. Please bring some warm jumpers or jackets. The overnight temperatures in desert can be very cool.

Day 10 - Uluru (Ayers Rock)
The Red Center is simply stunning and unique. For 4 days we tour the Outback for an Authentic Outback experience and explore the stunning landscape of the Uluru (Ayers Rock). We learn from our local guide about the Aboriginal dreamtime stories and we make our own dot painting. We experience imposing cliffs and gullies of the wind at Kata Tjuta, travel on unpaved roads, sleep in permanent safari tents, experience delicious food cooked over the camp fire and sleep under the huge imposing Milky way (warm sleeping bags are provided).

Day 11 - Kata Tjuta (The Olgas)
From a vantage point, you will experience Uluru’s sunrise. Continue to Kata Tjuta where you can look forward to a leisurely 7km walk through the “Valley of the Winds”. Then we drive to Kings Creek Cattle Station to a remote private camp (complete with bush toilet and shower). This camp gives you a real feel for the outback. Tell stories over dinner at the camp fire before you spend another night under the stars.

Day 12 - Watarrka (Kings Canyon)
Today we continue to Watarrka (Kings Canyon) for an incredible 6 km walk through the towering walls, columns and plateaus of Watarrka. We will visit the Amphitheater, the Lost City and the quiet ‘Garden of Eden’. Later we travel on a typical outback dirt road to Glen Helen for today’s overnight stay. Here we might like to see a typical OUTBACK pub and enjoy well-deserved refreshments.

Day 13 - West Macdonnell Ranges
We admire the Glen Helen Gorge, and from there walk part of the famous Larapinta Trail. Then we’ll visit the Orcher pits and swim in the Ellery Creek Great Waterhole. In the early evening hours we return to your accommodation in Alice Springs. This Outback Tour has shown you the BEST of Central Australia – a travel experience you will never forget.

Day 14 - Flight to Cairns
Today, we finally sleep in before visiting the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the Reptile Centre until we take our flight to Cairns where we enjoy the coastal breeze and palm fringed beaches.

Day 15 - Daintree National Park
By ferrying to the banks of the Daintree NP, we’ll travel to one of the most ancient UNESCO protected rainforests in Australia!
There we’ll hike through the mangroves, bath in a marvellous waterhole, look for the rare Cassowary and walk along the beautiful beaches to our Eco Lodge in the forest.

Day 16 - Rainforest and Barrier Reef
Luckily this little spot has not yet been discovered by all the tourists. Cape Tribulation is the home of one of the oldest rainforests in the world, The Daintree is the only place where two World Heritage sites meet, rainforest and Barrier Reef.
We walk through Mangroves at Myall Beach and on the Dubuji Boardwalk. Of course we must also try the famous Buffalo and Emu Burgers.

Day 17 - Crocodiles
On our last day in the rainforest we learn about crocodiles in their natural habitat. With a small boat we go on a photo safari and learn everything about Australian saltwater crocodiles. Then we head to the kangaroo orphanage and Port Douglas, a cozy holiday resort where you can buy your last souvenirs.

Day 18 - Atherton Tablelands
Today is dedicated to explore the Atherton Tablelands, the hinterland of Cairns where we hike and swim at Lake Echum , Barwon Falls and visit the market at Kuranda. We stop in the pretty old town of Yungaburra to find out about one of Queensland’s oldest pubs or marvel at Giant fig trees.

Day 19 - Great Barrier Reef
Today we are experiencing the underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef. This day trip sails to amazing coral sites ,where we can snorkel from our catamaran or delight from the boat to see sea turtles or glide over colourful, soft or hard corals, tropical fish, and giant shells.
(9 hours on the water to the outside REEF)

Day 20 - Cairns
Today is at your disposal. You can explore the Cairns promenade, jets and shops, buy the last souvenirs, relax by the pool or you have time to experience the Barrier Reef again?

Day 21 - Departure
With a backpack full of adventures you are embarking on your journey home today. Farewell and transfer to the airport for you departure to Germany.
Tip: Individual extension of your holiday. Explore the surrounding, north of Cairns or Aboriginal Heritage.

As this trip is expedition in nature, we point out that there may be delays, route changes or program changes – due to unfavourable conditions, bad weather, organisational difficulties, etc. You should therefore bring adventurous spirit, and if necessary tolerance and patience to practice.
Conditions:
Walks with the daypack, drinking water is very important, bring clothes to swim. Something good condition are necessary; walk 1 time 2-3 hours. Red Center In the desert, it may get colder at night or early in the morning, please bring a warm jacket.
Tips Equipment:
Bring along: good shoes, has, multi-functional underwear, rain gear, sunscreen, water bottle, backpack for day hikes, swimsuit and mosquito cream.
Accommodations:
The right choice of nights is very important to us, because at the end of an active day, every guest would like to have it comfortable and comfortable. In cities like Sydney, Alice Springs or Cairns, we choose centrally located mid-range hotels. Outside we prefer selected accommodations as “Aussied-owned and operated” that are interesting or that combine authenticity with comfort.
