Day 1 - Arrival in Brisbane, Queensland
You are scheduled to arrive in Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland. Meet your German-speaking Tour guide who is excited to spend the next three weeks exploring Australia with you. However your first trip is to your hotel in Brisbane.

Day 2 - Brisbane - Fraser Island
The next morning we will be on our way to catch the ferry from Hervey Bay to Fraser Island. Fraser Island ist the largest sand-island in the southern hemisphere. It is protected under the UNESCO World heritage rules and for this and other reasons – which you soon will discover – a very worthwhile destination. A most amazing sunset will give you a taste, before we stay overnight in our hotel accomodation.

Day 3 - Fraser Island
Today you shall experience first-hand this captivating Island and see the Rainbow Sands, the Maheno Shipwreck, Woongoolba Creek and the Pinnacles. Fossilised limestone columns emerging from the sand. As you travel in an air-conditioned 4-wheel drive along the 100 km “Beach-Highway” you wont notice the heat, but you will be in awe seeing Lake McKenzie and/or Eli Creek. You may even want to take a dip in these crystal-clear cool waters. We will return to our accommodation for another night’s stay.

Day 4 - Fraser Island
Today is a day for whatever you like to undertake! You may further explore Fraser Island, rent a vehicle, go for some well-posted bushwalks or take advantage of other excursions, however the adventures are optional and at your own cost. We recommend you to consider a Bush-Tucker Tour or even a Canoe-Tour. But make sure you have returned by the evening, as we will take our torches on a night walk and spot some of the nocturnal animal .We will return to our accommodation for another night’s stay.

Day 5 - Fraser Island – Brisbane – Sydney
In the morning we say “Good bye” to Fraser Island and return to Brisbane’s airport. There we’ll catch our flight to our next highlight: Sydney! The world-renowned Harbour city with its glittering Opera House right at the water’s edge. Sydney’s Harbour Bridge and its TV-famed Bondi Beach shall be on our to-do list as well. Overnight we stay in a hotel close to the city’s centre.

Day 6 - Sydney
Our exploration continues! First we take a guided tour through the Opera House. Then we hop on a ferry to walk along Manly Beach. Optional and f you so choose, on our way back to the cbd, you may visit the Tooronga Zoo, albeit entry fees are not included, therefore an extra cost. Then explore on your own the harbour’s surrounds. How about a cocktail in the 36th floor at the Shangri-La Hotel’s BLUE BAR? A refreshing drink plus a breath-taking view, especially at night. Overnight we’ll stay in our Hotel.

Day 7 - Sydney
You may think that this is all Sydney can offer …? But be prepared for further highlights: we cruise through the city towards Bondi Beach with its red-and-yellow Surf Life Savers. Watch the surfers taming the waves of the Pacific Ocean, stroll along the beach-front and it’s shops or walk along ‘The Gallery” over to the Icebergs Pool. Later, having returned to the CBD, you may want to take a break in the Botanical Garden with its rich selection of flora and bird life, or look from Mrs Macquarie’s Chair towards the Opera House, as this afternoon is at your own disposal. Consider arranging for a performance at the Opera House! Your Tour guide will assist you securing tickets, as long as you let him know early enough – as soon as possible. This would be at your extra expense. Overnight we’ll stay again in our comfortable Hotel.

Day 8 - Sydney - Hobart / Tasmania
We rise early to catch our flight to Tasmania, Australia’s most southern state and island. Arriving in Hobart, capital city of Tasmania, we explore this town and also visit the Bonorong Wildlife Park, to catch a glimpse of the Tasmanian Devil, one of the very few and endangered carnivores Australia’s. Overnight we’ll stay again in our comfortable Hotel.

Day 9 - Tasmania - Freycinet National Park
In the following four days we will discover Tasmania’s east-coat with its fascinating deserted beaches, bush walk tracks and places like Wine Glass Bay on the Freycinet Peninsula. There, in the Freycinet National Park, we talk a walk to admire the Granite Peaks and finally stay overnight in a hut or cabin.

Day 10 - Tasmania - Bay of Fires
Today we further delve into the nature offered by this part of Tasmania. We are about to experience The Bay of Fires! There we will be taken by its crystal-clear water, hidden beaches, rocky gorges and breathtaking views – true Tasmanian wilderness! Overnight we are in similar accommodation as previously.

Day 11 - Tasmania - Cradle Mountain Lake St. Clair National Park
The St. Clair National Park is a renowned bush-walking paradise! Tracks of various length and difficulties will lead you close up to Cradle Mountain and Lake St Clair among steep rocky mountain peaks. The Park’s Visitors Centre offers you plenty of information and activities you can choose from. Your guide will makes suggestions on what to explores and whatever you choose, you will be surrounded by century-old rainforests, alpine landscapes offering spectacular views. Overnight we are back in a hotel for rest and recovery.

Day 12 - Tasmania - Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park - Melbourne
Once again we will take the morning to further probe into the nature of Cradle Mountain. Bushwalking on one of the many tracks might take your fancy, or you could book a Canoe Tour on the Dove Lake (your own expense). Later that day we leave towards Launceston and catch our flight to Melbourne. There we check in our hotel, close to the cbd.

Day 13 - Melbourne - Phillip Island
Today let’s explore Melbourne, Victoria’s Capital city! A guided city-walk through old-style arcades, graffiti-adorned laneways and dominating sandstone buildings from gold-rush times will take your breath away! This city on the banks of the Yarra River offers a mix of new and old. Countless parks sprinkled throughout this 5 Mill+ city offer a rest among fine-looking gardens. In the late afternoon we will take a trip to adore the Fairy Penguins on Phillip Island as they come home just after sunset having searched for food all day. We will overnight in our hotel on Phillip Island.

Day 14 - Phillip Island - Great Ocean Road - Apollo Bay
We take a ferry to traverse the small entry into Port Phillip Bay: from the Mornington Peninsula to Queenscliff. This marks the start of the world-famous Great Ocean Road. We cruise along, the ocean to our left, passing through romantic small fishing villages and may even spot some Kangaroos. We stop in Apollo Bay to get to our overnight accommodation, but before we visit the Apollo Bay lighthouse, which guided ships for over two centuries along this dangerous – shipwreck – coast.

Day 15 - 12 Apostles and on to South Australia
This day is dedicated to admire the sights along the Great Ocean Road! The 12 Apostles will offer you memorable photo opportunities, you will walk down the Gibson Steps right onto the ocean beach and marvel at Loch Arch Gorge, one of the many venues with a sad story of ship wrecks. Afterwards we will travel towards South Australia, after Queensland, New South Wales, Tasmania, Victoria – our fifth and final state on this journey. On our way we visit the Tower Hill National Park with its 30,000 year-old volcano lake. We are no in the area of the original inhabitants, the Koroitgundidj people. We may have a chance to spot more Australian wildlife: Koalas, Kangaroos, Emus, Echidnas and more. We overnight in a comfortable hotel.

Day 16 - Kangaroo Island
Our trip continues west-wards, towards Kangaroo island. A short ferry ride will get us there. A unique place with regards to its flora and fauna placed among wild beaches and steep, rocky cliffs. Kangaroo Island managed to isolate Australian animals and kept ‘imported pest’ such as cats, rabbits and foxes away from the island. Now about 60% of the island is reserved for the natural Australian species to thrive! In several national parks we will have a chance to admire these animals. We stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 17 - Kangaroo Island
This is our first Kangaroo Island exploration day! An experienced National Park Ranger will bring us close to the huge sea lions and its related species. Further to our hotel for a second overnight stay on K.I.

Day 18 - Kangaroo Island - Flinders Chase National Park
More to see on K.I.! Today we visit the incredible rock formations in the Flinders Chase National Park. Almost certainly will we see the cute Koalas, seeping high-up in the Gumtrees. If we are really lucky, we might even see them moving to another rest spot. Back to our K.I accommodation for our final overnight stay on K.I.

Day 19 - Kangaroo Island - Adelaide
We leave Kangaroo Island full of wonderful impressions and continue en route to Adelaide, South Australia’s capital city. Passing through the beach suburb of Glenelg we’ll arrive in our hotel close to the CBD. The evening offers an opportunity to see Adelaide@night!

Day 20 - Adelaide – flight back home ….
This is “your day” – a day at your own disposal until you need to get ready for your flight home or any other program you may have planned for.

Port Lincoln is the one-and-only place in Australia where you can dive with Great White Sharks! … securely tucked away in a steel cage. Not only will your heart race, but the photo opportunities are super special and unforgettable!
Day 20
Flight from Adelaide to Port Lincoln and you will dine on a wide variety of fresh Australian seafood together with a local wine. We stay overnight in our hotel in Port Lincoln.
Day 21
Dive with Great White Sharks on the Calipso Charter boat. Overnight at our hotel
Day 22
Flight from Port Lincoln back to Adelaide to catch your flight home.
